Yarranabbe Road Apartment
New finishes, floors and a sunny, sophisticated palette brought new life to this three-bedroom waterfront residence in Sydney’s exclusive Darling Point. After stripping the apartment, the walls were repainted a clean, crisp white and European oak floors installed. Combinations of oak enhance the touches of timber throughout, with new joinery in veneered American oak and solid oak benchtops and handles in the living area. In the new kitchen, stainless-steel benchtops provide striking contrast. Beautiful materials continue in the four new bathrooms, with handmade wall tiles, terrazzo floors and, in the ensuite, Elba marble on the vanity and Norwegian Rose marble on the floor, its hues picked up in the vanity’s oak handles. The teaming of white walls, warm timber and colour provides a stylish foreground to the views beyond.
